i hope this dint offend you, that's not my goal,but just giving you the heads up that you may get some very upsetting comments coming your way.just saying

And if anyone is offended by this, well, too bad. They can always close the tab so that they don't have to look at it. I can't speak for the artist, but certainly my impression is that it's more for the enjoyment of atheists/skeptics/what have you than to offend Christians. If everyone went around being so concerned about whether or not someone was offended, we would never get anything done.
And I would like to also say that I used to have a similar opinion as yours, so I absolutely understand where you're coming from. But again, you can't just go around worrying about stepping on someone's toes all the time, because you can pretty much guarantee whatever stance you happen to take on something, or whatever small, seemingly harmless statement you make, someone is going to be bothered by it. And if you think that we should be extra sensitive to the feelings of Christians/Muslims/Jews/Hindus/Whatevers, I honestly find that a bit silly, as many other atheists do. (Particularly of the anti-theist variety.) Religion is just as susceptible to criticism as anything else, perhaps even more so.
I guess what I'm trying to say (in a sort of long-winded way), is that from what I understand, this isn't meant to offend, merely to poke fun at. And I understand that you're trying to look out for a friend, but perhaps a note would have been a better option? Posting something like this in the public forum tends to draw people like me.

just saying you shouldn't get involved in other people conversations. and your right maybe i should have posted a note,but i didn't post it on any forum just leis page ,but why couldn't the artist do the same by an age rating or a warning of some sort on the piece of artwork,instead of making it public and especially at Easter !!!!!!!! and posting things like this tends to draw extremists,I care what people think at some degree.
im glad you understand and i would like to say i understand your point of view too,by the way i don't worry about people being offended, just i worry if they have been hurt by my actions or others, there is a big difference.and just it might hurt lei the things people will say. and no i wasn't telling people to be more sensitive to just Christians/Muslims/Jews/Hindus, i think everyone should learn to be a bit more respectful and understanding to everyone regardless if they have a religion or not.
