Today, November 20, is the International Transgender Day of Remembrance. Today, November 20, is a time to remember those humans who have been murdered, some before they could even walk, because they "differed" from societal gender norms. Because they broke stereotypes. Because they tried to be themselves.

I have made this image so that, hopefully, someone may use it to remember this day, or to tell a friend about it. To come out, or to spread the message of tolerance. To promote education, or to reach out to someone in need.

Today is important, but it can't end here.

If we all come together, maybe we can make a better world for people who are transgender, genderqueer or any form of gender deviant. At the very least, maybe we can save a life. The life of a sibling.

Of a parent.

Of a child.

Of a relative.

Of a friend.

Of a lover.
